Railway Assurance Ltd is a specialist provider of system engineering, safety assurance and interoperability services to the rail and light rail sectors.

We support the successful delivery of complex railway projects by ensuring compliance with the Common Safety Method (CSM) Regulations and the Railways (Interoperability) Regulations. Our work spans infrastructure, rolling stock, and operational systems, helping clients navigate regulatory requirements with clarity and confidence.

Our expertise is applied across the full project lifecycle from early concept and system definition through to authorisation and entry into service. We work closely with project teams, duty holders and independent assessment bodies to deliver robust, proportionate and auditable assurance solutions.

Since our establishment in 2008, we have supported a wide range of projects across the UK rail industry, working with infrastructure managers, train operators, contractors and design organisations.
